Although, there's usually a good mix or 2 to be found so it's not a total loss. Too bad it's royalties to Barker that keeps us from getting a proper deluxe LORAH re-master. You're 52, Al, grow up already.

I'm pretty sure Paul quit because he was sick of Al's general craziness and assholery. But anyway, Mole remixes? Really?? That album is 6 years old for fuck's sake. "Got Dub?" can't be far behind.

The Land of ReMiXXX and Honey ReMiXXX 69 The Mind is a Terrible Thing to ReMiXXX Filth MiXXX Every Dub is Halloween In Case You Didn't Feel Like Showing Dub MiXXX'd Sympathy ReMiXXX'd & Loaded Linger Fickin' Dub MiXXX's, Dubs, + Queers Big Sexydub
Anyway, one interview I read was Paul wanted to keep going in the Filth Pig > Animositisomina style, more programming & experimental in nature, and Al as we saw wanted to go more metal, which led to fighting and Paul quitting. Now it's just Al refusing to admit he was being an a-hole while he was sobering up. Word has it his new wife Angie didn't help matters either, but who really knows.

Actually Big Sexydub could be interesting.

Oh like I wouldn't check out each of those and probably get 1-3 decent tracks from each, ending up with a 13 song collection called 'MiXXX Fits' that I wo-...

Flowering Blight is far far superiour to any of the last 3 Ministry albums. It does continue the more experimental Filth Pig/Animositominananamanina side of things. I love both albums.

Right, and that's obviously where Paul's head was at & not Al. Ministy's always just been a commodity to Al anyway, he only listens to country music he could care less if a bunch of new guys wanna play around with his songs & get him money from it.

I've heard the remix previews, I will admit a couple of them sounded kinda cool.
More interestingly though, Leaetherstrip just let spill on Facebook he just turned in a remix of "Everyday is Halloween" TO Ministry for...something. He won't say. I guess since he can't touch the Paul stuff the next one will be 'Early MiXXes' or something. If it's by other bands though...eh, who knows.

Don't fret just yet, Leatherstrip has a good pedigree despite the more recent material. And in fact I like the album that just came out a fair bit. It's not like I said Suicide Commando turned in a mix...

Oh, I didn't mean that. I'm cool with LS remixing it, it's just that since he can't say what it's for, it could be a long ass time before I get to hear it. And that makes me a sad panda.

Well depending what it is, I hope somebody cool remixes "The Nature of Love". The bassline and vocals in that track have always been badass (I do believe that's the first track Al debuted the growl we came to love) but the rest is so hilariously cheesy. Love-love-love-loooooove!

Just caught a preview of Razed in Black's remix of "Everyday is Halloween" on their Facebook. Sounded alright, trancey and minimal like he's been doing since the last album. 2 things jump out at me though:
1. He said things like "my mix of the track compared to others" which makes me think this might be an entire album of Halloween mixes. And if Cleo (it's on Cleo, yes) didn't learn from the disaster of Metropolis' Front 242 "Headhunter" remix CD (wait...you mean everyone DOESN'T want 70 mins of the same goddamn song???) then they deserve the flop they're gonna get.
2. The vocals didn't sound the same, so I wonder if Al remade the track as well. It coulda been some kind of manipulation, but it didn't sound like the original vocal track much at all. This makes me nervous as well.

Ooooooo, or All Day. That one was pretty damn good. Still gets club play.
Yup, I just heard it Friday night.
So anyway, it's called "Everyday is Halloween: The Anthology." Oct. 5th.

Jesus fucking fuck, no wonder the music industry's dying. Didn't the disc of 242's "Headhunter" remixes flop horribly? Who the fuck wants to hear 10+ remixes of the same fucking song? And from what most people can tell, it sounds like it's a re-recorded vocal track the bands have been using. I love Ministry, but even I don't really wanna hear a new metal version of this song.

We still don't know for sure it's just the one song. If it's a remix collection devoted to the Wax Trax! singles, that's really only 4 songs to choose from. So naturally there will be multiple versions of some tracks. Maybe EIH is just the only one we've heard about so far.
