We've finally done it. After about a year we've completed the first Semi0n full length release and it's called Nuclear Attack. Its 43 minutes long and is available as a download for £3 from bandcamp as of now. You can also preview the album in full there as well.
The limited edition CD-R and tape set is now available as well. £7
Limited edition CD-R and tape set that includes:
Nuclear Attack on CD-R.
An Audio Cassette featuring Nuclear Attack on the A-Side and 3 exclusive tracks by the individual band members on the B-Side.
A 6 Page Vellum artwork booklet.
A copy of the UK Government Protect & Survive booklet.
A individualised letter from Sir Reginald Pinkerton-Smith Undersecretary to the Minster of Defence and the Home Office.
"Now, I am become death, the destroyer of worlds" Robert Oppenheimer, Trinity 1945
The Atomic age was meant to be the first steps of mankind into the future. Instead the threat of nuclear annihilation hung over the head of everyone living in the post World War II years.
The Cold War blazed with icy fury as the nuclear stockpiles of East and West grew ever larger and more destructive.
The policy of MAD (Mutual Assured Destruction) seemed like the inevitable outcome in an age of paranoia and fear.
With Nuclear Attack, Semi0n have tried to sonically recreate the feeling of dread, horror and devastation that a Nuclear strike would have on a country.
Musically brutal in places the track is divided into 7 movements each covering different phases of a Nuclear Strike and its aftermath.
However the band believes Nuclear Attack is best listened to it it's full 43 minute form as presented on the CD.
